About Us
Don Tyler, President & Founder
Described by those who work with him as "an expert manager and motivator in a
nonthreatening way," professional achievement and personal effectiveness are
Don Tyler's hallmarks. He has built a career on motivating others to succeed
across myriad business disciplines.

With an established track record in management and supervision,
Don has specific experience in the areas of finance, operations, human
resources/personnel development, sales and quality control. Known for
his creative problem-solving ability, and adept at strategic planning
and results management, he excels at setting and meeting goals for a
variety of organizations:

He has provided principal operations, planning and management
support to First Media Group, an award-winning marketing, advertising
and public relations agency in Southfield, Michigan.
He managed more than 200 employees for Con-way Freight, a Fortune 100
international transportation company, including hiring more than 100 employees
in expansion efforts across the U.S. and Canada. Responsible for customer
service, fulfillment and sales support operations, he was recognized for
excellent service and HR initiatives that increased annual profits sixfold.
He conducted financial and compliance audits for Con-way at
233 service centers throughout the U.S. and Canada, and ensured company-wide
uniformity with policies and procedures.
He tracked market quality and delivery performance for
Gannett Outdoor, a Fortune 500 outdoor advertising company in Detroit, Michigan.
Don formed teams to address service needs. Traveling throughout the U.S. and
Canada to institute division reporting and measure on-time delivery,
campaign duration and product quality, he established baselines and
managed marked improvement across all categories.
He oversaw a division restructuring at Gannett Outdoor,
using problem-solving skills to establish a team charter as well as new
employee compensation and uniform reporting procedures.
He managed safety inspections and building permits for
Gannett Outdoor; created employee safety teams, met with customers weekly to
ensure satisfaction, improved on-time delivery, employee morale, awareness of
safety issues and reduced lost-time days substantially.
Don is Six Sigma Black Belt certified and is a certified trainer for Vital Skills/Crucial
Conversations. He has attended and facilitated numerous professional workshops, seminars
and training courses and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree. Don is a current member of the
American Society for Quality.
